Privacy policy

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, business, email address, phone number, and whatever you choose to include in a message or brief.
• Information from a project. The accounts, systems, and records you ask us to work with, which may contain your own customers' details. We handle that data on your instructions.
• Technical information. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser, and the pages requested, kept for security and to understand what is being read.

This site sets no tracking cookies and does no advertising or cross-site profiling. If we ever add analytics, this page will say what and why before it goes live.

AI systems and phone calls

• Where we build an AI phone or messaging system, the assistant identifies itself as automated at the start of a call, and messages disclose that they are automated where the channel allows.
• Calls may be recorded or transcribed only where the business running the system has a lawful basis and any consent the law requires, and only for the purposes agreed: answering, routing, and quality.
• We do not use a client's call recordings or customer conversations to train third-party models.

How we use information

• To answer enquiries and prepare quotes.
• To deliver, support, and invoice for the work.
• To keep the records that tax and accounting rules require.
• To protect this site and our systems from abuse.
• To send updates you have asked for, which you can stop at any time.

When we share it

• We do not sell personal information.
• We share it only with service providers who help us run the studio, such as hosting, email, and accounting, and only as much as the task needs.
• We may disclose it where the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
• Some providers process data outside your country. Where that matters, we put appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry details are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back.
• Project data is kept for the length of the engagement and then for as long as tax and contract law requires.
• Anything we no longer need is deleted or returned to you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, to object to some uses, and to withdraw consent. Write to us and we will respond within the time the law allows, and we will not charge for a reasonable request.

If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege access on the systems we run. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authorities as required.

Children

This site and our services are built for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes are noted on this page rather than made quietly.
